Celebrate William Shakespeare's 454th birthday with a fun program and awards ceremony honoring the winners of the Sonnet Contest!

ECU Storybook Theater, “Pirates Upon Avon“, performance of Shakespeare’s sonnets and scenes in front of Joyner (in Faulkner in case of rain).
4:30 p.m.
Awards Ceremony and cake-cutting in Faulkner Gallery, accompanied by a presentation, “Digging Shakespeare’s Sonnets“, by teacher Drew Weaver (The Oakwood School) and celebration of the winning entries.

Sponsored by the Department of English, Great Books Program, Medieval and Renaissance Studies Program, and Sigma Tau Delta.
